 | Cradle without the Hood |
 |
Connect the hood to the row of single crochets done earlier on the inside of the cradle/purse shown in blue on the diagram.
Find the center at the narrow end of cradle/purse, mark with a yarn or safety pin.
Count 10 stitches to the right and mark.
Count 10 stitches to the left and mark.
Begin at one mark and join yarn with slip stitch. Single crochet 3 stitches, double crochet 6 stitches, single crochet 3 stitches and end with a slip stitch 1.
You should be back to the other mark.
Turn around and do a row of single crochets in each stitch.
Turn around and repeat the first sequence again reducing the number of single crochets by two. Repeat Sequence until it is the size desired. On the last round single crochet once around the entire top of the cradle. Each of mine turn out a little different. |
 | Chain stitch the handles with two colors of yarn and a size G Hook, until at the desired length approximately 120. Weave the handles in through the first row of treble crochets. Tie the two ends together in a knot. Finish all loose threads by working back through the crochet with a needle. |
